Topic:The graphs below show the global robotics market in 2000 and predictions for 2025 based on sectors. Size of the global
robotics market 2000-2025 (billions of dollars). Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make
comparisons where relevant.
The given bar graph represents the value (in billions of dollars) of the worldwide robotics market in 2000 and forecasted figures
for 2025. The tabulated data reflects the sector wise distribution of the usage of robotics from 2000 to 2020 and the expected
size in 2025.
Overall, we can observe from the bar graph that the global robotics market has been on the rise since 2000 and is expected to grow
exponentially by 2025. The table enables us to conclude that the use of robotics was mainly preferred in the industrial sector, and
this trend will continue till 2025, while the personal use of robotics was the lowest and have been predicted to remain low.
Firstly, we can see from the bar graph that robotics was around a $10 billion market in 2000 and 2005. It increased marginally to
$15 billion in 2010, almost doubled to around $30 billion in 2015, but jumped significantly to $42 billion in 2020. The market has
been predicted to escalate even further in 2025 to nearly $75 billion.
If we consider the table, reflecting a sector-wise breakup, we can see that the robotics market was less than $5 billion in all 4
sectors, from the year 2000, up to 2010. The market for personal use increased slightly to $4 and $7 billion respectively in the
years 2015 and 2020, and the revenue from this segment has been predicted to touch $9 billion in 2025. Robotics witnessed a similar
growth in the commercial and military sector in 2015 at $10 billion and the forecasts in these sectors are $16 and $15 billion
respectively in 2025. Lastly, the use in the industrial sector was $11 billion in 2015, which touched $16 billion in 2020 and is
expected to rise exponentially to $26 billion in 2025. (299 words).

In June 1996, an experimental influenza vaccine was tested in a large provincial town only on females. The result of this survey is
shown in the following figure.
Summarize the information and make comparisons where possible.
We have been given a pie chart which reflects the percentagewise distribution of the risk levels of different age groups of women on
whom the flu vaccine was administered. The line graph depicts the number of men and women who caught the flu and the bar reflects the
gender wise mortality numbers.
Overall, the pie chart reflects that the vaccinated senior citizens were at the highest risk. The trend graph indicates that more
women contracted the flu and their mortality numbers were also higher as seen in the bar graph.
To begin with the line graph, flu cases reported in beginning months were below 1000 of both genders; however, after April the
numbers rose exponentially to 3500 and 2500 in females and males and hovered around these levels till June, when they gradually
decreased by 500 till August. Post which, the numbers remained static at 2500 in women and 1500 in men.
Similarly, the death numbers were more in ladies identified as 1 from march to May while no male deaths were noted. However, June to
August reflected a spike in flue deaths with 2 men and 4 women dying.
Furthermore, negligible proportion of females (13%) were hospitalised. Babies and children who were still at-risk post vaccination
made up almost a quarter ratio, 28% of the females were not vaccinated and 35% of women aged over 65 years were most at risk. (233 words)
